Madison Alworth Early Life and Education
Madison Alworth grew up in Long Valley, New Jersey, and attended West Morris Central High School. In an interview with Fox News, she described Long Valley as an important part of her childhood and said she attended the local public high school before going to Yale University. She graduated from Yale and developed an early interest in television journalism during her college years. While at Yale, she helped start YTV, a student television station that continues to operate.
Her university experience gave her an opportunity to combine academic studies with practical broadcasting. Starting a student television operation allowed her to gain experience in producing news, working with a team, and creating content for an audience. These early experiences helped establish the foundation for her later career in professional television journalism.
Madison Alworth Journalism Career
Alworth began building her professional broadcasting experience through an internship with Fox News Channel’s Your World with Neil Cavuto. She later joined NBC News as an associate producer, where she worked on content for The Today Show. Her NBC work included coverage related to the 2016 New York presidential primary and segments focusing on women in business.
She subsequently moved to Cheddar News, a live-streaming financial news network. At Cheddar, she worked as both a producer and an on-air reporter, covering trending topics and delivering financial and business news. This position helped her develop experience explaining business-related stories for a digital audience while also strengthening her on-camera reporting skills.
In 2018, Alworth joined WTSP in Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida, where she worked as a reporter and anchor. Her reporting there included coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic, race relations in the United States, breaking business news, and other major developments. Her work at WTSP gave her additional field-reporting experience before she moved into national business journalism.

Madison Alworth Personal Life
Alworth has generally kept much of her personal life separate from her professional career. In her Fox News interview, she discussed growing up in Long Valley and moving back to New York for her Fox Business role. She also spoke about adjusting to apartment living in New York City.
